This
is a unique opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered
people with a connection to Blackpool, to come together and
create a lasting archive of their social history. Blackpool
has one of the largest LGBT communities in the UK and the Rainbow
Project wants to tell its story.
The project will combine interviews, focus groups, photographs,
memorabilia and costume collections from the community with
oral recordings, photographs and video to capture Blackpool’s
rich LGBT history. |
